Established in Ohio Revised Code Section 4139.02, the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council is an advisory board appointed by the director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The council provides guidance and makes recommendations regarding state-level policies and regulations and is comprised of nine members; including three employer representatives, three employee representatives, and three representatives of the public.
The ApprenticeOhio Program Administrator serves as the secretary for the council.
The council meets an average of 4 times per year.
