There is an opening for membership on the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council. The
Council was established by state and federal law, to evaluate Registered
Apprenticeship (RA) training programs in the state, and to advise state
officials about policies governing the RA system. Council membership is
evenly distributed among representatives of employees, employers, and the
general public. There is no salary for council work; however, ODJFS
reimburses travel costs and other expenses of participation. For this
particular opening, the candidate must represent the interests of employees, by
virtue of current or previous work or affiliation.
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) invites qualified individuals to
apply, or nominate others, for this position by forwarding their resume and
qualification to Apprenticeship@jfs.ohio.gov.
